The Safari
This eight-day expedition to Laikipia, Kenya, your primary goal is to try and observe and photograph the elusive black leopard. Your private safari will be conducted in two Priority Black Leopard vehicles, accommodating a maximum of seven guests plus Kevin Dooley as the Private Photographic Guide.
The focus of your trip will be Giza, a young female black leopard known for her relaxed nature and expanding territory. With seven nights in the area, you’ll have ample opportunity to explore her range, which includes the area of Laikipia Wilderness Camp.
While the black leopard is the primary target, Laikipia offers a wealth of wildlife diversity. Expect to encounter Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, lions, striped hyenas, reticulated giraffe, and other fascinating species that inhabit this arid landscape.
